This is the most the home can charge a week for residents on the Fair Deal scheme. Under Fair Deal you pay up to 80% of your income and 7.5% of the value of your assets a year, and the State pays the rest. Homes may charge extra for things like activities, hairdressing or newspapers, so ask about these when you call.

Method v1. It uses only HIQA's published judgments, not our opinion, and is recalculated whenever a new report is published.
Cairnhill Nursing Home is a purpose-built centre with spacious, comfortable single and twin rooms all having en-suite facilities. Residents receive 24-hour nursing care and can access a variety of activities and communal spaces, including a cinema room and hairdressing salon. Residents said they were well cared for and staff were kind. However, inspectors found some safety concerns such as an unlocked treatment room with medication, a broken sluice room door with unsecured chemicals, and a locked evacuation gate without clear key access. The home has good management and training but needs to improve oversight to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
