Method v1. It uses only HIQA's published judgments, not our opinion, and is recalculated whenever a new report is published.
Anna Gaynor House is a nursing home in Dublin providing care for up to 89 residents, many with high dependency needs. Residents generally felt the home was nice and staff were kind. Meals were tasty with good choices, and there were many activities including knitting groups and a choir. However, inspectors found concerns about staffing levels, especially on the Marymount unit, leading to delays in care and insufficient supervision. Records and care plans were not always kept up to date, and staff were not always properly supervised or informed about regulations. The home was clean and comfortable with good communal spaces and outdoor areas.
