Condition 1: Subject to any prohibitions or restrictions contained in any other condition(s), the designated centre shall be operated at all times in accordance with the Statement of Purpose within the footprint of the designated centre on the floor plan received on 22 October 2025. The registered provider shall only provide for the specific care and support needs, and services, within the facilities as set out the Statement of Purpose, as agreed with the Chief Inspector at the time of registration. Any changes to the specific care and support needs and services provided must be agreed in advance with the Chief Inspector. Condition 2: Only persons aged 18 years or older shall be accommodated at the designated centre at any time. Condition 3: The maximum number of persons that may be accommodated at the designated centre is: 36.

Residents generally spoke positively about the care and food, though some wished for their own bedroom. The home offers various activities and has a secure garden. However, inspectors found ongoing issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and infection control, including unclean en-suite bathrooms, damaged surfaces, and inadequate housekeeping facilities. Staffing levels were adequate, but environmental hygiene was not well managed. The provider has been warned to improve these areas promptly.

Residents said the staff are lovely and the food is good with always a choice.
There are a variety of activities available and residents are supported to participate.
Residents have access to a secure garden and patio area for outdoor enjoyment.
There is a full laundry service with knowledgeable staff.

What needed to improve

Two en-suite bathrooms were unclean and had broken fixtures, posing infection risks.
Furniture, doors, and walls were scuffed and damaged, making cleaning difficult.
Housekeeping facilities lacked proper hand-wash sinks and chemical storage, compromising hygiene.
Dirty utility room and specimen fridge were not clean, increasing cross-contamination risk.
Alcohol hand gel was not available at point of care, limiting timely hand hygiene.
